After about three weeks of regular wear though I noticed the pearl shifting slightly, like the setting had loosened. Still wearing it carefully but a bit disappointed for something I hoped would hold up longer.
The pearl on this ring is genuinely beautiful, real natural variation in the surface that you only get with freshwater pearls.
I've worn this ring almost every day since it arrived and the gold plating is holding up really well. The pearl has a soft creamy glow that works with everything from jeans to a dress. My only small note is that I wish the band were just slightly wider, but that's a personal preference thing.
What sold me on this ring was that hollow textured band and wow does it deliver. It catches light from every angle and gives the ring this three-dimensional quality that makes it look far more complex than a simple band. Combined with the pearl it just looks incredibly thought-out.
